Very sturdy ring! If you’re mainly someone who owns medium and small toys from various brands I recommend this size! But if you own anything larger than a medium I’d get the 3” version! Overall it’s worked well and is better than the silicone rings I got from another site!

Watch The Seam! It May Cut. The size and heft of these rings is really nice, but I did not pay attention to the seam on the ring which turned out to have a very sharp edge which gouged my brand new Beef Cake (which was understandably gutting...). My mistake, but just be careful, and check your rings. The seam can be sharp enough to cut. :( Mine are all wrapped tightly with electrical tape at the seam now before use.

JFYI....this 2.5" ring is too small to fit over the 4" Hankey's suction cup, if you wanted to put this ring in a harness between the suction cup and toy. I know most folks would be using a vacu-lock type attachment with just the toy, but our harness doesn't have anything beyond a ring set up. The ring is a bent/welded hoop with a bit of a sharp edge where the parts meet and are welded...again, JFYI.

The solder ring is not well made, so there are edges that can damage the toy. Also, the recommended ring size for a medium Nick Capra on the web is 2.5", which is too small to put this toy on and off in a harness.
