This is my 3rd version of this toy, and by far the best. I got the XXL in packer soft, which is drastically more comfortable and pleasing to me for very large toys like this. I got the XL size and at first I was furious. It seemed impossible to get in due to the way it bends at the wrist. Had this one for a while and it was impossible to get it in. It is really flat on top. But it should fit. I get toys with bigger circumference in. Tried it every once in a while. One day I had it standing right next to the wall and held my hand between the toy and the wall while sitting on it. This way it cannot slip away. Also you'll have to approach it a little more from the side, almost putting the thumb in first. A little patience and you feel it to get in slowly.
