This is a definite, for anyone buying from hankey's. They toys are an investment and you need to know how soft or hard you want it. I will definitely be going with 40%, which is the softest for insertable toys. We will be deciding on a toy soon. Definitely excited!

From other reviews suggestion, it seemed like a good idea to get the sample set before I placed an order. I highly recommend it. I got to see some colors and the firmness’s for myself. I haven’t received my finished pieces yet to see how they turned out, but I am sure I made a more informed decision by getting these.

This sample pack is a must have before you buy the toys you want because the level of firmness you think you want may not actually be the level of firmness that your body actually wants. I know the flat rate of postage may work out expensive for a little sample pack but if it makes you order your toy correct the first time then it'll save money in the long run. If you have lots of toys and use the vac u lock feature then the drill bit that you can buy is a nice little addition too.

I found this sampler pack extremely useful. This literally assisted me in choosing my next toy which I ordered the day after I received these. For instance, I wanted a toy that was larger in diameter than what I normally max out at. When a person spends over a thousand dollars in products, these things are a must in making an informed decision as to softness. What sucks is that they're not free with said purchase, though I do understand that it's because of certain types of potential consumers that it's necessary "evil." These samples are super helpful. I thought they would be very little, but they're large enough to hold and squeeze in the palm of your hand so you can get a good idea of what one of the dildos would feel like. And they double as a nice stress squeezie.

I've tried out multiple brand's firmness sample sets, all of them were disk or puck designs, and none of them were actually useful for their intended purpose, this is because perceived firmness is heavily influenced by toy shape and thickness. Imagine my surprise when I tried out Hankey's Toys sample set and found that they were actually useful for helping me make an informed decision on what firmness I want my toys in. The Dome design and large size of these sample dollops is a really clever design, the perceived firmness was very close to the actual toys. In conclusion, this product is actually worth buying. Its also nice that the colors aren't boring. You can also use firmness sample sets like this one to test potentially harmful substances on before using them on your toys, though keep in mind silicone degradation can take months to occur.

Required for a first time purchase/investment in a Hankey's toy. I bought two after squeezing, pushing, and comparing the samples for a week, one in medium firm and the other in 75% soft. These give you a good idea of what option would be best and for which toy. In my experience the toy will seem a little softer than the samples just because there is more of silicone there to squeeze. I am really happy I got the samples. My first toy purchase worked out perfectly.

This sample pack is excellent and really helpful in deciding the right firmness for your dido and very reasonably priced at $9.95! BUT to charge $16.35 for shipping is completely outrageous, especially since the five silicone pieces, the cardboard they're shrink wrapped onto and the cardboard box they came in only weighs 1 lb. (this package could be mailed 3-day Priority from the USPS for less then $9 including insurance value). Please Mr. Hankey give a rethink to charging this ridiculous shipping fee!
